HOW TO WEAR YOUR RINGS

IF you like it then you better put a ring on it - actually put more than one ring on it, put every single one you own on it. Pile them up, interlock them, match them, mismatch them - wear them on every finger, and at any point on your finger. It's time to get creative with your jewellery and the way you wear your rings.
Yes, it's about making a "statement" but not in the solo, one-piece sense.

Annelise Michelson

"The more rings you have, the stronger and more personalised your style becomes," says Parisian jeweller Annelise Michelson, whose empire of rings fit like a jigsaw puzzle across your hands. Armour-like, they slot together in synchronised fashion - jagged or intriguingly bulbous. "I like to play with the shapes and colours of my rings, mixing silver and gunmetal. It's a modern way to wear jewellery, by having fun," she reasons - her own hands shimmering in an ode to the cause.

For those scared to embrace the bijoux, this is the way to throw yourself in at the deep end - and if you don't want to commit to some of the more conceptual and complicated constructions out there (and which usually come with a more substantial price tag), raid your own jewellery box, or head to the high street to snap up some nicely price-pointed pieces, and then just layer them up and spread them out.
And don't just wear a ring that's meant for one finger on said finger either - wear it towards the nail or halfway down to add interest - it's officially called the "midi ring".

It looks different. It looks cool. It looks new. Try Freedom at Topshop for some great and fun - the buzzword behind all of this - ring styles too.

Are you a fan of this new trend? Maybe you have a fav shop where you can buy interesting rings? make sure to share with us.
