Avocado Face Mask for Dry Skin

This classic recipe for dry skin involves only 2 ingredients: avocados and honey which are particularly moisturizing.
Avocado is great source of vitamins B, K and E. It’s important for your body to get a sufficient amount of vitamin B, it helps your metabolism work better which leads to a healthier skin tone. Avocados also contain monosaturated fat that is necessary for our health. They are high in fibre. Insoluble fibre does a great job in cleaning out the bowel. Avocado is great for weight control, because it turns into a gel that sits in your stomach for some time when it comes in contact with water, so you feel full for longer.
This mask works well on mature, wrinkled and dry skin (not sure if you have dry skin? It's best to use a ripe, fresh, organic avocado. Make sure to mash it up into a creamy pulp.

Ingredients

  • ½ very ripe, soft avocado
  • ¼ cup honey
You can also add a dollop of cream to your mask for a creamier consistency.
For dry skin, crack in one egg yolk and mix well. For oily skin add egg whites!

Preparation

Mash the avocado in a bowl, then stir in honey.
Apply to skin and leave for 10 minutes.
Rinse face with a cool washcloth.

Don’t waste the left overs! Use the left over mask for your hair! It works wonders and makes your hair soft and nourished.

have a great day
