First trip to the Zoo

Hiya All,

It's been a crazy time lately for us. We're getting ready for the christening of little Zoe, and I have to say that I didn't even get  close to my laptop. I feel like a builder lately. Yesterday I was painting the wall in the back garden and I was refreshing our bathroom. This is not the girlies task, really exhausting.
Any way, last Sunday we went to Dublin Zoo. It's been a long time since I was there. It was Zoe's first time:-) I'm not sure whether she knew where we were, but it was enjoyable for the adults. Here are some pictures we made

Somebody got hungry....

Here are some outfit details that are not visible on the pictures.

I was wearing Bershka jacket, Primark scarf & necklace, top is from ebay, Hilfinger jeans,Kurt Geiger flats and MK watch.

Lots of love

Solange’s Weapon Of Choice: Anya Hindmarch’s Crisp Packet Clutch

It was a case of Solange in the elevator with the clutch at last Monday’s Met Ball after party, as Beyonce's sister attacked her husband Jay-Z, all whilst in possession of one of this season’s hottest weapons. Fashion weapons, that is.

Solange chose to accessorise her custom 3.1 Phillip Lim dress with Anya Hindmarch’s gold crisp packet clutch. Now sold out pretty much everywhere! Wonder what Anya thinks of the altercation, which saw her £995 handbag thrust even further in to the spotlight. I'd say that situation (nobody actually knows what has happened, and what Jay-Z did to upset Solange) made that tiny bag even more desirable. It's so cool, vey unique. And yet it reminds me a pocket of crisps. Well, it doesn't mean I wanna eat it, but it is adorable. I recon this is going to be the hottest accessory this season:-)

So what do you  think about that little cutie?

Today's Inspirations

Hiya all,

Quite recently I fell in love with Scandinavian houses! I just cannot stop to think about my house- or rather how can I change it. I always loved changes, that includes moving furniture and changing decorations.
I really, really......... love scandi style!!!!! Oh why, why and why I didn't win lotto as yet:-(
Rather than moaning I have a few inspiration pictures or few pieces that I'd love to buy to my house.

What are your fav styles? Do you have your dream house?

DIY poster

Hiya All.

As promised I have for ya a tiny DIY project. As you know me by now, I tend to get bored with my decorations. So, I like to change them quite often I would say;-) Some are good, some are not even worth showing. I like doing all sort of DIY projects even if I'm not the bedt in them.

In our dining room we've had an old poster that we brought from our apartment. I had a great memories that included this poster, but it was time to move on! Obiously I kept my colour scheme: grey, white & yellow(those colours you will find in my house, you'll find also green). Searching the internet I found fantastic quote :
"Happiness is a choice.
You are the only person who can make you happy.
You're as happy as you choose to be" by Rick Warren. I love this quote! It became my inspiration for my rather simple poster.

So what I used:
Old poster
Old paints (anything that you have! You are colouring paper)
Pencil
And I didn't have a skint brush so I used old Kiko brush for cuticles;-p

So what do you think? I've had in my mind nicer poster, so not sure if I should change it or leave it?

Have a great weekend

P.s. I made a small change. A bit better;-)

Lots of love from The West of Ireland xxx

We've had a bank holiday weekend in Ireland therefore together with my hubby, we decided to take our little one and bring her to uncle Bill :-) I think this is the first time she saw so many animals:-)

The weather wasn't as great as we would expect, but this is the West of Ireland. It's always windy and you can be more than sure to get some stormy weather too. Any way this is not a glamorous place. We had to become a farmers for a few days:-) It was a great fun. No TV, only radio. Few minutes drive to a local shop. Outside of our house there would be only few cars passing us by and our close neighbours- horses, didn't see any fox or hare.
It was really good to leave Dublin and unwind a bit and listen to all the stories.

I have few pictures for you from our trip:-)

Here is Zoe meeting little lamb:-)

She wanted to eat me.... So adorable

You don't even know how many pictures were done besides those gates. Everybody is always having a look.

That day we went for a walk around my Father's in Law land. I have to say I was a bit scared, cos there were so many horses and they were really curious who you are.

Here is our house:-)

Hello boys. They were so close.... so scary

Hubby looking like a real farmer, making sure that wifey is safe :-)

I love that picture!

A little rest

It should be the other way. hi hi Any way I got the same service:-)

A little tea break before a short stop at uncle's Martin farm.

Somebody was stealing my hat....

And I had to run away.

Horses are getting ready for some warm up, before they go and race:-) It looks like a giant machine for hamsters. I swear!

Ah yeah life of a farmer.

I wouldn't mind to live with uncle Martin. His house is stunning. Very traditional but it looks beautiful.

And how did you spend your weekend?
