Royal Baby fever!

THE Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have announced the birth of their first child, a baby boy. The child was born at St Mary's, Paddington hospital in London yesterday at 4.24pm and weighed eight pounds and six ounces. The Duke released a statement to say that he "couldn't be happier".

Following a formal press release from Kensington Palace, the birth was then officially announced on an easel outside Buckingham Palace - as per royal tradition - and stated, "Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well." The Duchess will now remain in the hospital overnight.

Here is grandparents statement:

"Both my wife and I are overjoyed at the arrival of our first grandchild," read a statement on behalf of Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. "It's an incredibly special moment for William and Catherine and we're so thrilled for them on the birth of their baby boy. Grandparenthood is a unique moment in anyone's life, as countless kind people have told me in recent months, so I am enormously proud and happy to be a grandfather for the first time. We're eagerly looking forward to seeing the baby in the near future."

Congratulation to the Royal couple. I'm only hoping that Kate didn't have a difficult delivery. I wish them first of all piece, as now they need the time to spend with their Baby Boy. All the best xxxx
