DIY face mask- say stop to your blackheads!

Hiya All,

I recently found another DIY face mask that I tried on my face. I have to say- why I didn't know about that earlier!!!!! I never hear about baking soda being used in homemade face masks until few days ago. This is really good and affordable face mask that really works.

This is what I found- check below picture :-)

Any way here is what I used to prepare my face mask:

- small bowl
- baking soda (bread soda- this is exactly the same thing)
- fine salt (I used sea salt)
- your facial gel that you use daily (I use clear and clear)

This is what you need to do:

Add one spoon of baking soda & salt into the bowl. Then add your face gel (about a spoon too). Mix all ingredients and put your mixture on a clean face. Make sure to avoid eye are and do not put it on your lips (I know it's obvious but never ever try to do tho:-P). To be honest before you put it on your face, you should try it on a small area. This mask gave me a tingly sensation.

I kept it on my face for a 5 minutes and then I used water & my hands to remove it. I did this mask last night but I had to wait till today morning to see if my face wasn't irritated and I wanted to see the results in the day light! I have to say that I will be doing it more often. My skin felt so fresh and definitely my nose is looking so much better. My face looks like I've had microdermabrasion done. Wooohooo!!!!! Definitely wort trying. I can recommend this face mask for people who struggle with blackheads. But I'm not sure if this mask is suitable for sensible skin.

Also baking soda can be used with a tooth paste :-) If ya wanna have a brighter smile this is the way to go:-)
